In our lesson today we learned about a variety of shots and their impact on the audience.
With this information we were put into groups and given a scenario from with we had to had to film a scene incorporating the different shots we learned.
Sir put me in a group with Samrah and Faiqa and told us to film a scene about a girl who is annoyed because her friend was late. We shot the scene on Samrah's Samsung A71 and came up with our own dialogues.
We filmed a total of 8 shots consisting of the rule of thirds, close up shots , close up tracking shot (of the feet), over the shoulder (OTS), two shot and mid shot of the dialogues obeying the rule of 180 degree.
Being first exercise naturally it was not the best of our abilities but we had a lot of fun filming this scene however, over time I hope too improve my skills with more of these tasks so my final project comes together perfectly.
